On Location Diaries: Hornsey Town Hall
Undisclosed High Fashion Brand at Hornsey Town Hall
Production: Bellhouse Markes
Whether it be rain, sunshine or snow we will always aim to cater whatever the weather! With a three day job for production company; Bellhouse Markes at Hornsey Town Hall, we served them during their preparation day and two of their shoot days.
We cater for crews that are 20 people or more, however, we prefer to create bespoke menus for crews of 70 to 100 that will reduce queuing during service. Another way to reduce queuing is to schedule split catering if the shoot schedule allows.
We offered our premium menus for this client due to the split catering. Having tried two of the menus before our client chose two of the same menus and one new menu for the crew to try. Our menus come with two meat options, one fish option and one vegetarian/vegan options, three to four sides and salads, and always sauces and dips to accompany the main dishes (chilli jam, babaganoush, and apple and sage mayonnaise to name a few…).
Day 1: 50 people
‘The Healthy Grill’ with avocado and chocolate mousse pots and a cinnamon apple cake for dessert to cater to all dietary requirements!
Day 2: 90 people
‘Low ‘n’ Slow’ showcases pork belly, jerk chicken and salmon to a tee. It’s then finished off with a lighter dessert of lemon polenta with blueberry compote and a dark chocolate and coconut vegan slice.
Day 3: 90 people
‘Middle Eats’ was the perfect menu for a snowy day at the new set-up behind the Hornsey Town Hall. The hot pots were welcomed in the cold, and the crew then enjoyed the chocolate and stem ginger cake with coffee made by the crew.
